World View Closes Rolling Series D Funding Led by Accel
Company Will Scale Proven Capability to Meet Growing Demand
TUCSON, Ariz. (June 12, 2025) -- World View, a global leader in stratospheric remote sensing and flight, announces the successful closing of its rolling Series D round. The closing of the round was led by Accel, a global venture capital firm helping ambitious companies build iconic global businesses.
This round included strategic and growth capital from both new and existing investors as World View expands its persistent and high-resolution stratospheric remote sensing and insights capabilities to new markets. Prior to leading the close of this round, Accel has participated in and led several previous funding rounds, demonstrating the continued confidence in World View's pioneering work in high-altitude, stratospheric flight technologies and systems.
This rolling Series D round specifically supports the increasing demand for high-altitude intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities identified by the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Department of Defense, and global defense forces, as well as growing demand for commercial remote sensing solutions. With this combined strategic investment, World View is poised to execute a robust flight manifest over the next 24 months, further developing and improving its flight systems and capabilities.
